    I used to do graphics a long time ago and loved it. I am self taught, but would love to be able to learn Gimp and have someone to teach me! What a great opportunity!

    I’m very interested in learning graphics but have no experience in it what-so-ever. I believe your course would assist in the much needed hand-holding through the process.

    Many computer users are blind or have low-vision (American Foundation for the Blind says there are more than 25 Million “severely visually impaired” people in the USA. How many more globally?), I work to help make sites more accessible, thereby increasing their readers, subscribers, word-of-mouth, & sales. Unlabled & low-quality graphics are a huge hindrance to online access for this niche of consumers. For low-vision users, better contrast & larger fonts help immensely, too. Anything I can learn about making better graphics can only help. So I hope to win this package to learn more about how to make better graphics & visuals, to help my clients grow their sales through accessibility. ;-)

    I spend hours on website graphics that don’t look that great when I finish. Would love to learn the techniques to make them look better. Sounds like Gimp would be a great option.

    I would love to do your coaching because I have the ‘plain’ Graphics Mojo’ class, but it would be nice to do it live to keep me moving and to have the opportunity to ask questions and see how things work in real time (my internet is slow but live classes work better than watching videos).
    I have done some decent graphics just with my own photos and Paint, but I think once I learn GIMP it would be easier and give me more flexibility.

    The web is a visual medium. Even though “copy” is king, unless your site looks as good as your competitors, you’ll find converting visitors to customers is a tough slog. I’ve worked with graphic designers my entire career–and a good one will always create an end result better than something most of us can do by ourselves. But… there are times when a decent do-it-yourself graphic will suffice. Plus, knowing the process will help you better communicate with a pro when you need to.

    57 years old. Worked a dozen years as traditional graphic designer in ’70s-’80s–pre-digital. Advanced self-acquired computer skills, but tough to learn GiMP thoroughly without much documentation. Looking forward to the course; and free would be good.

    I don’t know about others but to me, acquiring basic graphics skills is nothing less than self empowerment, because you become a completely new game player after this. You become empowered to accomplish many more things.

    Hereon you have complete control over the visual aspects of your online presence, which is the very first thing people see, then get impressed! :)

    And very importantly, you’ll be in a position to lend a genuine helping hand to others struggling, be it online or offline, hence guiding them to be ‘empowered’ themselves. Help others stand on their own two feet.

    The ability to empower others is the ultimate self empowerment, indeed!

    Hi Angela,
    I would love to win this as I have been in business for several years and just recently taught myself wordpress and built my first wordpress site. Although I am still green in that area and still learning, I am in bad need of graphics to enhance my site to get more business. who knows better than you howit is to struggle with little money while trying to build a business.     I’ve been dabbling (struggling) with graphics the last few months. I haven’t tried Gimp but training would make it easier. I’m just starting a mobile/social marketing biz, I don’t have any paying clients yet, just a few barter deals. It would be awesome to win this class. thanks, Vicki

    Oh I love this course — I have gone from the PC format to a MAC and sure don’t want to spend the money on repurchasing the graphic programs . . .

    I’ve played with GIMP but without out a ‘teacher’ I find that I am not grabbing everything that I can – having a course such as yours is an answer to my prayers!
